Training

R3R/BC Fischer,  offers training to outside horses, but must limit how many I can take on. This is to allow me to do a good, thorough and lasting job on your horses and is the reason for minimums. My program is tailored to the individual horse. I feel like the customer's horse should be trained and treated as well as I do my own personal horses. Owners are welcome to come and observe their horse's progress, but please call ahead so I can schedule a convenient time for both us. I like to work one on one with the owner at the end of the training period and go over what your horse has learned. And, as always, I am here to help my customers anytime if they have any problems arise or just need a tuneup. Private lessons are also available.

Prices for training are as follows: (Please contact me FMI or any questions)

Halter breaking: $450 per mo. w/30 day minimum. (Broke to lead, tie, pick up feet, grooming, lounge line basics-nothing hard because of growing joints, trailer loading/unloading, starter ponying)

Colt breaking: Due to circumstances, I'm not taking on any colts for breaking to ride. Horses coming in for specialized training must be broke to ride and at least be able to lope. I can provide referrals for colt breaking in my area.

Beyond breaking- when you just need more handle and miles on your horse, or they need to be legged up and conditioned for competition $550+ mo.

Specialized training (ie:Barrels, etc): $650 per. mo. w/ 90 day minimum.

Feed and hay are included in training fees.

Lessons: $30+ per hr. basic riding, $40+ barrel lessons, (+ ...depending if your horse or ours) Lessons at customers place, on their horse, available at start rates plus mileage.

Does not include: Hauling mileage, entry fees, cattle charges, vet bills(incl. chiro. or dentist), shoeing/trimming, supplements, special feeds/hay... anything over and above listed on fee prices. We will consult with owner any additional fees in advance. Training fees must be paid at the start of each month and all extra fees must be paid in full before animal departs. Any missed riding days due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, will be added on at the end of training period. All animals must have current coggins, deworming, vacc.'s as per your vet's recommendations.
